I can also connect from the same LAN as the VPN server using the Windows 8 clients. I have the same problems and I think the reason lies in one of the updates I go after Dec. 14, 2012. Unable to reach locations beyond the VPN server. I repeat - IT WORKED!

  • Since then every vpn connection just works fine.
  • When the upgraded Windows 8 PC was Windows 7 it connected fine - everytime.
