This obviously eliminates any buffering issues if the problem is still there when you try to play the video this way. Tried all kinds of fixes found on the internet...and none worked. There are many causes for the symptom of noisy audio and each cause has its own solution -- there is not and never will be "a" fix. Any update on this? The one thing that caused the problem was having multiple processes open multiple active network connections. Any idea why this is happening? There are times when it won't show and then a program called process explorer can usually find it. Others reported that it did help their stuttering problems. As long as I have that disabled / unchecked,and it does not load at startup, no stuttering!! I updated (then rolled back) video drivers, re-installed (repaired) Windows (7X64), etc etc and almost decided to just live with it. I don't mean to be annoying but I have both a desktop and a laptop running Win 8 on the same network.
