I think this will only work if you had Windows 8.1 with the computer and not an upgrade to 8.1 from the store. Open regedit on the good machine as an Administrator, if you are very adventuresome you could open, export and import as System user, I did not need to. This restores the default keys and values under the FolderDescriptions registry branch.Note: Do not run the registry file in other versions of Windows. Double-click w10_folder_descriptions.reg to run it.
