I've gone to classic internet search instead of the search companion, nothing changed. I just finished uninstalling KB3038314 on one of the W7 systems and that resolved my problem. My list of programs does not include Bing - so I cannot delete it. I have totally reset IE, and uninstalled/reinstalled IE, but the issue persists.
