Problem started when I was gonna sell it and I reinstalled OSX tiger and hey pronto track pad not working (reinstalled 2 times now and still nothing). Am really missing it, I can use a USB mouse but it isn't very portable if you know what I mean. The only disk I got with the computer was the OSX tiger disk. We are always gentle at first... Did the trackpad work right up until you did the reinstall? http://ifixit.com will set you straight.
