I get this on my hard wired PC and wirless laptop (when it's working of course). Go to Control Panel - Hardware and Sound - Power Options - Change Plan Settings - Advanced Power Settings - Wireless Adapter Settings - Power Saving Mode, change this to Maximum Any help is welcomed. And impossible to reconnect, each time I have to reboot the computer to get wifi again.
Have reset the router, reset the network settings...problem remains...Is it the router or the hardware on the laptop? The issue was that the router (a relatively new one) was using a channel not supported by my laptop WLAN card.The router channel selection was set to Auto and the current i'm on windows 8 but hopefully this works for you. It's also not always reliable so sometimes use a cord. Now that keeps losing internet connection as well.
